Postponement of our Plans

Well, it's time for an update on our plans. Actually, it's a bit overdue! In late December, we were supposed to leave for Texas to join To Every Tribe Ministries, but God has changed our plans. Several factors have stacked up to close the door for now. First of all, and perhaps most serious, Samuel has been diagnosed with epilepsy. After we decided to move forward with our plans, his febrile seizures, which he was supposed to be outgrowing, increased in frequency and changed in nature. Second, our house, which has been on the market five months, has not sold, and there is little hope that it will. Third, we have not reached our target with regard to monthly financial support. Any one of these three things wouldn't be enough to close the door on our plans, but put together, they make it overwhelmingly clear that we must reluctantly postpone our plans for now.

This is a VERY tough decision that God has made for us; we still want to go and truly have no idea why it's not time. We search our hearts continually if there be any wicked way in us, and we pray every single day about this, which makes it clear to us that God is shutting this door right now.

We thank you for your support, your thoughts, and your prayers. We humbly ask that you please continue to pray for us as we determine what to do from this point on. We must postpone this, but we aren't finished. We will press on for His will and His glory, and we will keep you updated. For those of you who have invested financially in our ministry, you may rest assured that your support is accounted for and not one penny has been spent yet. If at such a time as God may show us to not go, then we will return your financial blessing in its entirety.

Blessings,
Phil & Stacie Brady
