WHAT IS AN UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP AND WHY GO TO THEM?
An unreached people group is an ethnic group of people in which less than 2% of the population are Evangelical Christians.
Romans 10:14-15 says,
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach unless they are sent?"
These people do not have anyone to tell them about the beautiful gift of salvation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Isaiah 6:8 – 9 says,
“And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’
Then I said, ‘Here am I; send me.’”
To Every Tribe focuses on two locations that have a concentration of unreached people groups:
Papua New Guinea and Oaxaca, Mexico
